Thanks so much!

I just wanted to thank all of my fabulous friends and family who have called to check up on me, given darling gifts, brought over dinner and goodies, etc.  Going from 3 to 4 has been tough, something that only I can go through (obviously) and figure out how to do without going nuts-o.  I honestly can say that if I didn't have the support that I do from all of you I probably would have committed myself by now! So Thank-you THANK-you THANK-YOU to everyone who has made this transition easier! I feel so blessed! Muah!

The end of Summer

So technically summer ended 2 weeks ago, so this post isn't THAT late.  Ok, it is.  Let's just say I was a little out of it the end of August/beginning of September, so here's a little catch up.

Claire took golf this summer.  She LOVED it! She wouldn't wear pants or shorts this summer, so golf was the sport for this girl! (she'll wear them now for some reason)

Hallie was goofing off and kept jumping in front of the camera...silly kid.

Emma took swimming lessons a couple sessions in a row and even though she hated it the first couple days, ended up just loving it.  I posted about this already, but I had to include a picture of her jumping off the diving board into the deep end.
Hallie being a good sport during Em's lesson.
 Go Emma!
Look at the smile on that girl's face! Priceless!
A get - together at the end of summer with Em's school friends and siblings at her friend Peyton's house.
All of us moms took the kids on a walk and found blackberry bushes along the way.  The kids loved eating and filling their cups.

The following pictures crack me up.  This was during one of Claire's golf lessons.  Hallie was trying to occupy herself, so she posed over and over and demanded I take pictures.  This honestly is just a FEW of her poses!

Love this picture! They look like they love life!

First week with Adison

I don't know if it's because I know she's my last baby, but I have really enjoyed this first week and a half with Adie.  The hormones are raging still, but there's a calmness to it all that I didn't experience with the other girls.  Having my next oldest be 3 1/2 years older than Adie helps too.  I always had one in diapers with a newborn, so that was always stressful.  I'm not saying this is a breeze by any means, but I'm just enjoying having her around.  The girls are in heaven too.  This baby does not lack in the smooches department.  Diapers materialize in my hands before I ask for them! Offers of burping pop up right and left.  This poor child has 4 mothers, not just one! What a lucky baby! :)

Baby?

Today's appointment went well.  She told me I was a 3 all the way through and stretched me to a 4.  So if I don't have her tonight, I get to go in to be induced at 6 am tomorrow morning.  Flippin' hallelujah!

Update

Just letting everyone know that yes, this is day 5 of being overdue and I still have not had the little snickerdoodle.  Back when I was trying to figure out my due date, I was off by 2 weeks - according to my ultrasound.  The u/s gave me the 14th as the probably due date because of baby's size.  So, I'm really not suprised that I haven't had her yet - frustrated yes, but not that surprised.  I see the dr on Tuesday to schedule my induction, so hopefully in around 4 days if I haven't gone naturally I'll have her.  So! There ya have it! As soon as something happens we'll let ya know! :) Thanks for all the well wishes and concerns - we feel very loved! :)

Kindergarten

I've got the cutest pictures of both Claire and Em's first days of school, but darn it Dave hasn't taken them off the camera yet - I'll have to have him do it tonight.  Sending Claire was so difficult yesterday! I think of her still as my baby, and not a big 5 year-old! I think part of it is Emma was almost 6 when she started, and Claire's barely 5.  I sat in her class for about 10 minutes after walking her in.  The class is ginormous! When I registered her last April, they barely had enough for a morning class (besides the all day one).  Her teacher told me yesterday that 33 showed up just in the afternoon class! Where did all these kids come from? Evergreen Forest now has to hire a new kindergarten teacher.  This happened last year with Em's class too.  Hopefully Claire can stay with this teacher and in the afternoon class.  She recognized one little girl from her new primary class, so that's been a blessing -  other than this Ashley, Claire doesn't know anyone! But she seems happy and excited when I pick her up, so that makes me happy.  I guess sometimes I don't give my kids enough credit, or I'm just a schmuck! :) Poor Hallie doesn't know what to do with herself now that sisters are gone! Luckily this baby will (hopefully) come out next week so she'll have someone else besides mom to be at home with!

What a Day...

Do you post when you've had a bleh day? Oh well... It's been one of those.  Waiting for this baby to come out (I went to my dr's appointment today and when I got there they tell my she's at the hospital delivering a baby...pooh), waiting for my little Emmers to come home from school...Oh how I miss that little squirt! She has really been my third hand this summer - wiping Hallie when I couldn't, doing her chores, keeping the other two hooligans busy so I could lay down for a smidge.  Emma has really blossomed into this incredible little person.  She's always been amazing, but she really is the  kindest, sweetest, most helpful little person now.  I'm excited to see the person she's becoming, but seeing her grow up is a little hard.  Life huh? So now I get to pack the other two squirts in the car and pick her up in 1/2 an hour! The girls are excited, I'm excited!
