Spring Break...

I know it's been a month at least since spring break, but I had to put this picture up.  This is what happens with 5 moms chatting too much and enjoying each other's company once in a blue moon forget to watch children playing outside! I forget who discovered the graffiti first, but I actually thought it was kind of funny.  I just told the mom's of the culprits that at least it wasn't a cuss word.  We've yet to figure out how to get it OFF the fence... ;) I do have to add that the 3 little stinkers wrote apology letters and brought over goodies to say they were sorry. ;) AND, as my hubby pointed out, it was partially my fault for leaving out the spray paint on accident!

Happy Mother's Day!

Well it has been a wonderful Mother's Day week-end! Friday Emma's kindergarten class had a Mother's Day tea.  The kids memorized some poems and sang for us and then handed out homemade broaches and booklets about what they liked to do with us.  My favorite though was a picture of a flower Emma made with her handprint.  The quote brought tears to my eyes!

Sometimes you get discouraged
Because I'm so small,
And always leave my fingerprints
On furniture and wall.
But every day I'm growing up
And soon will be so tall,
That all those little handprints
Will be hard to recall.
So here's a final handprint,
Just so you can see
Exactly how my fingers looked
This year on Mother's Day!

Sunday I woke up late to heart shaped pancakes and flowers.  (for my gift I get to buy a Cricut, something I've been wanting for a long time!) Got to speak at church...:{ hmmm...guess at least I won't have to speak for a couple of years, right? Heard Emma sing with the Primary (Claire fell asleep on Dave).  Came home and had a lovely nap, finishing the day by chatting on Skype with my sister Jamie in Chicago and darling neice and eating a yummy bbq dinner at my parent's house.  For dessert I bought these sorbets from Costco, oh my yum.  They are in orange, lemon, coconut and pineapple halves.  My favorite's the pineapple! If you've ever been to Disneyland and eaten a pineapple Dole Whip outside the Tiki Room, it tastes EXACTLY like that! Fabulouso! Heaven in a cup I tell you! When we go in June I'm eating one every day I'm there.  If you are wondering why I keep going on about the Dole whips, well, you haven't had one! :) It was a really wonderful Mother's Day!

The greatest joys in my life! Are they scrumptious or what? :)

Whoa...a VERY late Birthday post!

Good grief, I was looking over my blog and realized that I didn't put Hallie's birthday on here! What a mom, huh?
Well, this year Hal decided to go girly (remember her Spiderman theme last year?).  She couldn't decide to have just a Purplicious party or an Ariel party, so we combined the themes.  It was a rare beautiful day out so we took the party on the front lawn.

I love this picture of Hallie right here.  She gets embarrassed so easily!
She definitely loves her grandpa!
Dave's friend Sara from his old job that made Hallie's cake.  It was gorgeous and tasted FANTASTIC!!!
I love this picture of the girls! I forgot how tiny the girls were when Hal was born!

Hallie is my spunky one for sure! Just ask her sisters - if she's being left out she'll let them know one way or the other - that girl can take care of herself! She's my little shadow - wherever mommy goes she goes! I remember when she was a baby I had to wear her in a sling because the minute I put her down...whoa! That baby girl could scream like a woman! But she is my little love bug - always willing to snuggle with me when the others won't! I love you little buggy boo!

IT'S A...

GIRL! I know, laugh away.  That's what everyone I've told so far has done.  I guess a boy just wasn't in the cards for this Coleman family! I was a little disappointed, I'll admit it.  BUT I'm mostly pretty excited to have another little girl.  Girls can do anything and look pretty doing it! ;) So, give me your thoughts on some names, because I'm tapped out!
P.S., thanks Nate and Heather for the preview!!! Love ya!

We're hesitating!

Tonight the girls called Dave in to look at them.  "We're hesitating" Hmmmm...
I love when they get words wrong!

An Easter Egg Hunt!

We have had quite a full week-end! And it's not even over yet - we're still at my parent's for conference and and Easter brunch.  Friday we went to my in-laws for a sleep-over and a fun day of egg hunts and playing with cousins that came up from California.  Pictures will have to come later, they're of course still on my camera.  But Dave took some cute pictures of the kids in my parent's backyard this morning with his phone out on yet another egg hunt! We're so blessed to be close to both sides of the family!
